Connections: “A Day for Roddy”
An Invitation to Continue the Legacy of a Key Supply Chain Thought Leader

We lost one of the supply chain profession’s most prominent thought leaders with the passing of Roddy Martin. Roddy’s impact was profound across verticals and in driving real operational change to the largest companies in the world. While he was an evangelist who inspired SC leaders everywhere, he also landed concrete action-oriented transformations. Throughout his career in the corporate world (SAB, TraceLink), as an analyst (AMR & Gartner), a consultant (Accenture, CCI, Deloitte), and through work with colleagues like you, he played a key role in pointing the way to the future of supply chains.
In honor of Roddy’s unique contributions to supply chain evolution and transformation, and to supply chain professionals world-wide, a group of his peers from across the profession have organized an endowed supply chain scholarship at his alma mater – Pretoria University in South Africa. The scholarship will provide tuition for a selected student’s full academic career, ensuring that Roddy’s influence continues into the future.
